We take free speech for granted.
But if you look around the world, you see why we shouldn't.
In Britain, you can get arrested for saying things online that police find “offensive."
In Scotland, misgendering someone can land you in jail for seven years.
Canada may soon pass a law that would punish “advocating genocide” with life in prison.
Now in the U.S., the House of Representatives voted for a bill that would make chants like “from the river to the sea” illegal at universities.
These are bad ideas.
Free speech is invaluable.
The RCMP's long-awaited review of its response to the Freedom Convoy is out, showing that officers were concerned they had been politicized by the federal government's handling of the protest. Crucially, the RCMP has called out the government for "misrepresenting" police information, or claiming information came from the police when it didn't.
Justin Trudeau – who shows an odd, almost familial, affinity for socialist dictators like Fidel Castro – has moved the Liberals away from their centrist roots and towards becoming a socialist party virtually indistinguishable from the NDP, which is part of why he and Jagmeet Singh get along so well.
Trudeau has deliberately sought to strangle individual initiative, weaken the energy sector, disincentivize investment, and raise taxes, all while massively expanding the size and scope of government including presiding over eye-watering increases in the size of the public service without any increase in service quality.

Note: POS Justin Trudeau is the most despicable, dishonest, divisive and narcissistic politician Canada has ever experienced. He has attacked and insulted Canadians who have disagreed with him or have opposed him in any way. | KF

Climate: The Movie (The Cold Truth) - Martin Durkin
This film exposes the climate alarm as an invented scare without any basis in science. It shows that mainstream studies and official data do not support the claim that we are witnessing an increase in extreme weather events – hurricanes, droughts, heatwaves, wildfires and all the rest. It emphatically counters the claim that current temperatures and levels of atmospheric CO2 are unusually and worryingly high. On the contrary, it is very clearly the case, as can be seen in all mainstream studies, that, compared to the last half billion years of earth’s history, both current temperatures and CO2 levels are extremely and unusually low. We are currently in an ice age. It also shows that there is no evidence that changing levels of CO2 (it has changed many times) has ever ‘driven’ climate change in the past.

POS Trudeau is trying to shift the blame to Canada’s older generation and the wealth they have accumulated over a lifetime of work.
The words uttered by Trudeau were loaded. He said: “Older generations whose money works for them rather than working hard as young people are.”
Trudeau is implying that older Canadians are living the high life on the backs of younger, working Canadians.'
